When you convert a Style Works 2000 preset to Korg Pa, the PC-sampler module records all the parameters of that sound (except for effects, as noted in the first section of this review). Style Works 2000 Korg Pa also includes the advanced, professional EMCWorks 2000 module, which incorporates virtually all the features of the EMCWorks 2000 modules and the accompanying CD. On startup, the software can automatically assign a user-ID. Each preset is associated with a particular user-ID number, and this number is kept in the user's EMCWorks database. User-ID (What's an instrument without a name?). This interface allows the user to record all parameters for one of the 14 pre-programmed sounds in the PC-sampler software.
